Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

OnVid (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and the OnVid AI video generator, a free tool that turns text prompts and photos into videos. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our site or use the service.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information. You can start for free without signing up. If you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and basic account details.
  • Content you provide. We process the text prompts you write and any images or photos you upload to generate a video.
  • Generated videos. We handle the videos the service creates from your prompts and images so we can deliver them to you.
  • Usage and technical data. Like most sites, our hosting and infrastructure may automatically log information such as IP address, browser type, device details, date/time of requests, and referring URLs. We use this for security, reliability, and basic analytics of traffic patterns.
  • Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the service working and to understand how it is used.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide the service and generate videos from your prompts and images;
  • Route your prompt and any uploaded image to the AI model provider you select;
  • Create and operate your account, if you choose to sign in;
  • Respond to support requests and inquiries;
  • Secure, maintain, and improve the service.

4. Third-party AI model providers

OnVid is an aggregator: it runs external, third-party video models rather than models of our own. When you generate a video, your prompt and any image you upload are sent to the model provider you choose — for example Kling (Kuaishou), Veo (Google), Seedance (ByteDance), Wan (Alibaba), Hailuo (MiniMax), or Hunyuan (Tencent) — so that provider can create the video. Those providers process this content under their own terms and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the policies of the model you use.

5. Other service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Besides the AI model providers described above, we share data only with service providers needed to run the service — such as hosting, storage, analytics, payment processing (for paid plans), and email delivery — or when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Retention

We keep account, content, and log information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where feasible.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the business contact channel published on this site.

8. Children

This service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. International visitors

If you access the service from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be transferred across borders. We take reasonable steps to protect data in line with this policy.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service where appropriate.
