1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the OnVid website and the OnVid AI video generator (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. The service

OnVid is a free AI video generator that turns text prompts and photos into videos. You can start for free with no signup and no credit card. We also offer paid plans with additional capabilities. Features, prices, and availability may change or be discontinued at any time, and we do not guarantee the Services will always be available.

3. Your content and rights

You keep the rights you have in the prompts and images you submit and in the videos you generate, subject to the terms of the AI model providers that create the output. You grant OnVid a limited license to process, transmit, and store your prompts, images, and generated videos as needed to operate and provide the Services. You are responsible for having the rights to any image or content you upload.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Create or upload content that is illegal or infringes third-party rights;
• Create deepfakes or realistic impersonations of real people without their consent;
• Submit content that violates others’ intellectual property or privacy;
• Probe, disrupt, overload, or otherwise abuse the Services or their systems;
• Use automated means that impose an unreasonable load on the Services.

You are responsible for how you use the videos you generate, and for clearing any rights or permissions you need before publishing or sharing them.

5. Intellectual property

The OnVid brand, website, and their text, graphics, and layout are owned by OnVid or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

6. Third-party models and services

The Services run external, third-party video models — such as Kling, Veo, Seedance, Wan, Hailuo, and Hunyuan — to generate your videos. Your prompts and images are processed by the model you select under that provider’s own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices, and your use of those models is subject to their terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

OnVid generates videos from your prompts and images for creative use. We do not guarantee that generated output is unique, accurate, or suitable for any purpose, and you are responsible for ensuring your use of it complies with applicable copyright, licensing, and platform rules.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ONVID AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (US $50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING FOR THE CLAIMED ACTIVITY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OnVid and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

11. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the applicable governing law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require applying another jurisdiction’s laws. Any disputes will be handled in the venue permitted under that law, except where prohibited.
